Types of Jackpots at proton88
A jackpot is more than just a number — it is how the jackpot grows and is won that makes it worth exploring.
Progressive Jackpot Slots
Every bet from all players contributes a small portion to a constantly growing prize pool. The jackpot is won randomly or through special symbol combinations during free spins.
Fishing Game Jackpots
In multiplayer fishing games, the jackpot is accumulated from overall table activity. Catching a special fish or hitting a specific combination triggers the jackpot payout.
Live Casino Side Jackpots
Side bets on baccarat, roulette or other live game tables offer a chance to win a separate jackpot when the cards or spin produce a very rare outcome.
Tiered Jackpots
Some games offer multiple jackpot levels — Mini, Minor, Major and Grand — each won at a different probability. Smaller jackpots are awarded more frequently.
Move Up VIP Tiers, Get More Benefits
Every time you play at proton88, your wagering activity counts towards your VIP status. Start at Bronze tier and move up to Silver then Gold the more active you are — no separate registration needed. Weekly cashback is calculated automatically based on your current tier.
Players who play consistently will find themselves moving up tiers faster. There is no time limit or expiry date for VIP status — it remains as long as you stay active.
Starting tier for new players. Cashback is credited every week based on your wagering activity.
Regular players move up to Silver. A higher cashback rate delivers more meaningful value in return.
Highest tier for loyal players. Full weekly cashback gives you the best return from your playing activity.
Easy Deposits and Withdrawals
proton88 supports payment methods commonly used by Malaysian players. Minimum deposit is RM30 for all methods. Withdrawals are usually processed within 1 hour, with a minimum withdrawal of RM50.
Deposit Using Cryptocurrency
Crypto payment is growing in popularity among online casino players in Malaysia — better privacy, no third party involved.
A stablecoin pegged to the US dollar — suitable for those who want to avoid price fluctuations. Transactions are confirmed quickly through the blockchain network.
The first and most widely known cryptocurrency in the world. While confirmation times are longer than stablecoins, it remains the preferred choice for long-term crypto holders.
The Ethereum network supports faster transactions than Bitcoin with more flexible fees depending on network conditions at the time.
You must be 21 years old or above to create an account and play.

Understanding Slot RTP and Volatility
RTP (Return to Player) is a percentage that shows how much money is expected to be returned to players over a very long period — not within a single session. For example, an RTP that typically sits around 94–97% means that, on average across millions of spins, the platform returns that amount to players. This is not a guarantee of winnings for your session.
Progressive Jackpot grows from every bet placed by players — a small portion is contributed to the prize pool. The more players and the higher the total bets, the faster the jackpot grows before it is won randomly or through a special combination.
Choose a slot that suits your budget. Low volatility slots are better for longer sessions with a limited bankroll; high volatility slots offer the potential for larger wins but with less frequent payouts.
Low Volatility
Wins come more often but in smaller amounts. Ideal for players who want to extend their session without running out of balance quickly. Suitable for new players or those playing on a tighter budget.
Medium Volatility
A balance between win frequency and win size. Players can expect reasonably frequent wins with moderate payouts overall. A popular choice as it provides a balanced experience for most players.
High Volatility
Wins are less frequent but when they do occur, the amounts can be very large. Players should be prepared with enough balance to get through long stretches without a win. Best suited for experienced players who understand the risk.
Play within your means. Set a budget before playing and stick to it.
How to Read Sports Betting Odds
There are four odds formats commonly encountered by Malaysian players — each with a slightly different calculation method.
Malay Odds
Positive odds mean your potential profit is higher than your stake. Negative odds mean you need to stake more to get the same profit.
Malay Odds -1.20: Stake RM10 → Profit RM8.33 → Total return RM18.33
(Team A vs Team B — illustration only)
Hong Kong Odds
Shows how much profit is earned for every RM1 staked. Easier to understand as the number directly shows the profit value.
(Team A vs Team B — illustration only)
Indonesian Odds
Very similar to Malay Odds but expressed in larger numbers. Positive and negative odds follow the same logic — positive means the team is the underdog.
(Team A vs Team B — illustration only)
Decimal Odds (European)
The simplest format — multiply the odds by your stake to get the total return including your original stake. Commonly used in European-style sportsbooks.
(Team A vs Team B — illustration only)
Always bet within your means. Odds are only a representation of probability — not a guarantee of the outcome.
Bonus Terms You Need to Know
Understanding bonus terms helps you make better decisions when claiming promotions.
Wagering Requirement Calculation Example
Deposit RM100 → 150% bonus = RM150 → Account balance RM250
Wagering requirement: RM150 (bonus amount) × 25 = RM3,750 must be wagered before the bonus can be withdrawn.
Or: Deposit RM800 → Maximum bonus RM500 → Account balance RM1,300
Wagering requirement: RM500 × 25 = RM12,500
Wagering / Rollover
The total amount you need to wager before bonus funds or winnings from a bonus can be withdrawn. It is calculated based on the bonus amount received, not the deposit amount. For example, a 25x requirement on a RM150 bonus means you need to place total bets of RM3,750.
Bet Limit While Bonus Is Active
Most operators set a maximum bet per spin or hand while a bonus is active. This is to prevent players from trying to complete the wagering requirement with a single very large bet. Check the Terms and Conditions for the applicable limits.
Game Contribution
Not all games contribute equally towards the wagering requirement. Slots typically contribute more than table games such as baccarat or blackjack. This means RM10 wagered on slots may be counted in full, whereas on table games only a fraction may be counted.
Bonus Expiry
Every bonus has a validity period, meaning you need to use it and fulfil the wagering requirement within that period. Once the period ends, the bonus and any winnings from bonuses that have not yet met the requirements will be automatically forfeited.
Sticky vs Non-sticky Bonus
A sticky bonus means the bonus amount itself cannot be withdrawn — only the winnings from it. A non-sticky bonus can be withdrawn together with winnings once the wagering requirement is met. The type of bonus offered is usually stated on the promotions page or in the Terms and Conditions.
Maximum Cash-out Limit
Some bonuses set a cap on the total amount that can be withdrawn from bonus winnings. Even if you manage to win more than that limit, only the maximum permitted amount will be credited to your withdrawable balance.
Always read the Terms and Conditions in full before claiming any bonus.
